Therapeutic genital bodywork training for tantra practitioners

12 November/7:00 am - 17 November/7:00 pm GMT

£550 – £650

The goal of this training is to provide the theoretical and practical knowledge for Tantra practitioners who want to get a better understanding of the anatomy and to offer therapeutic genital bodywork.

“Knowing the anatomy and physiology of the human system allows a practitioner to ask much more interesting questions of the body and to respond to the puzzles and challenges of disorder in much more effective ways. An intelligent system will know that you know; it will respond to your ability to bear witness to what you are feeling.” From “Cranial intelligence” by Ged Sumner and Steve Haines

In many Tantra modalities, anatomy of the pelvic floor is covered very briefly and the information provided is often inaccurate. Understanding of anatomy and physiology allows the practitioner to address client’s issue quickly and effortlessly.

In this training we will study:
– In-depth abdominal, pelvic and genital anatomy
– Abdominal massage
– Internal (vaginal and anal) massage (integrative Karsai nei tsang)
– External myofascial release, as they are linked to the pelvic floor muscles
– Some common genital pathologies for women and men, and techniques to help support healing for these.

There are limited spaces available, which will be balanced between those in female bodies and those in male bodies, and we will practice with opposite sex partners. Practice on the same sex partner can be individually arranged after the training hours. If you prefer to work on the same sex partner, please get in touch to see whether there’s a possibility.

– Basic knowledge of genital anatomy and previous experience massaging the genitals for both men and women.
– Review of general anatomy is expected before the training; resources for this review will be available one month before training.
– Good understanding of the rules of consent and boundary.
– Minimal knowledge of trauma release is expected.

Training Structure:
The total duration of the training is 6 full days 12-17th November.

The daily schedule will be:
7.30 am yoga for pelvic floor
8.30 am light breakfast
9.30 am to 6.30 pm training time (Lunch break is from 1:30 pm – 3pm)

Female participants can register to the second week of the Women’s Pelvic Floor Bodywork 100hr Certified Training directly after this training, provided full participation.

Martin Beaudoin

“My interest in bodywork began at age 14. First attracted to energy work, Swedish massage, and Foot Reflexology, I quickly developed a passion for anatomy. During my career as a university professor (Linguistics and Speech Pathology), I offered massage on a regular part-time basis to friends and family.
In the last 5 years, I’ve received training in the following modalities: Craniosacral, Structural/Myofascial, Neurokinetic Therapy, Chi Nei Tsang, Karsai Nei Tsang, Thai, Stretching therapy (AIS & Ki-Hara), Foot Reflexology, Tantric Yoni massage, and Reiki. In addition, I completed a 200-hr Yoga Alignment teacher training in 2017.
Since retiring from my university position in December 2014, I’ve been living mostly in Thailand, Bali, and British Columbia, Canada.” More info: https://www.beaudoinbodywork.com/
